Mobility Universe

The Mobility Universe is composed of ten futuristic modes of transport, from autonomous vehicles and urban air mobility (UAM) to spacecraft, reflecting Kakao Mobility’s vision of movement. The project imagines a world where mobility can take you anywhere you can envision: a sweet candy land, distant outer space, or even a vast research laboratory. By combining the technical expertise and imagination of Doeslab, Mobility Universe creates an immersive environment that encourages active participation. Through their own choices and creative expression, visitors can explore and expand their imagination about the future of mobility.

One of the greatest challenges of this project was transforming 2D vehicle icons into animated 3D models while also designing road systems optimised for application performance, all while maintaining an engaging visitor experience. To achieve this, I learned Blender for 3D modelling and texturing, which enabled me to create customisable vehicle models and spline-based road structures. In addition, I supported development in Unity, contributing to both the application’s structural framework and its visual presentation.
