LostArk Minigame

The large-scale offline event Dear. Friends FESTA was held at KINTEX, bringing together approximately 12,900 visitors. For this event, two representative mini-games from Lost Ark were recreated as interactive touch-based experiences, allowing visitors to participate directly in the gameplay.

Selected highlights from the original in-game “Clash” sequences were edited and restructured to suit the format of a live event. The original mouse and keyboard controls were redesigned as touch interactions, encouraging visitors to move their bodies and participate more dynamically. This approach created a more engaging and physically active experience while maintaining the excitement and sense of achievement found in the original gameplay.

The project focused on adapting existing game mechanics into a new interactive format suitable for a public installation. While preserving the essence of the original game content, the interaction system was redesigned so that actions previously performed with a mouse or keyboard could be achieved through full-body touch interactions, allowing visitors to physically enact the gameplay in an intuitive and enjoyable way.
