The first floor of the Nexon Computer Museum was renewed by transforming previously static exhibits into interactive media installations. Through experiences such as holograms and a media wall, the exhibition presents historical information in a way that is both informative and engaging. Beginning with the history of the Apple I, the exhibition guides visitors through a sequence of real-time media art works that introduce the development of computer operating systems and hardware.

The exhibition includes several interactive elements. Visitors can explore the Apple I motherboard in a hologram zone, discover the history of operating systems through an interactive OS media wall that responds to their position, and learn about the development of CPUs through a touch table. Within this section, I was responsible for developing the Binary Printer installation.

Inspired by the binary system used in computing, the Binary Printer allows visitors to enter their name and see how the characters are converted into binary code. Once the conversion is complete, the result is printed on a receipt printer so visitors can take it home as a small souvenir.

In addition to developing the Binary Printer, I also worked on the structural design of the hologram enclosure. Creating a prototype was essential before full production, as the structure needed to precisely accommodate the digital hardware and hologram components. I was responsible for the 3D design and prototyping process, ensuring accurate dimensions and structural feasibility for the final installation.
